I am a free source kinda guy, I sing songs other people wrote and make small dollars that way. In hopes of inspiring others, I don't own anything, and I don't care too. 

Here is something I thought of yesterday:

3I Atlas may come and go, and it's been exciting to wonder about its origins and if it is some kind of propelled craft. 

But... I feel we need to be more prepared, not only to defend against such a comet or asteroid, but the obvious thing is not talked about so much. 

Possibly the hype around it was to distract from that fact. Obviously, this thing is moving faster than any craft we have, and it will exit our solar system soon, sooner than anything we can make. It has water and gases that might equal energy, and it's huge enough in size to do precisely the obvious: 

Land a Craft on it. 

Yes, we could if well enough advanced and quick enough to react, land a probe, possibly even a human on board, going on a one-way ride to exit the universe. Some brave souls are willing to take that chance. 

Or put a robot on board, and have cameras and data centers at work. 

 We would get so far with that kind of space travel. It would be interstellar. 

(The kitty sits on my arm, massaging me. She knows I like it when she rubs her feet on me. 

Maybe it's a sign, after all, Egypt had a thing about cats. If I went on a one-way trip to the stars, I would take a cat with me. All night, they are ready to keep you company. )

But back to the topic:

Maybe they are landing a probe on this object, and it's a secret. If there is a tech we have that can easily do that, it would be very secret. By easily, I mean another tech we are not informed of yet. We can do it now, but not easily.

It could have been a world event to do such a thing. 

After all, we did land a probe on a comet not long ago, and it all went perfectly.. seems easy to me. 

PS: One sad day, while humans are busy making weapons and collecting bodies and money, something will hit earth, then we will see what a bunch of primitive dumb-asses we have been.
